White Widow – Green House Seeds
1st Place HIGH TIMES Cannabis Cup, Bio (Organic), 1995
This is the strain that, along with Super Silver Haze, put Green House Seeds on the map. Instant success in the 1995 Cannabis Cup led many growers to pursue the White Widow for its tremendous bag appeal: Frosty with trichomes all the way out to the tips of the leaves, White Widow buds look like they’ve been dipped in diamond dust.
This strain grows compact and dense, with plenty of branching for a short plant. Theindica qualities are evident in the growth patterns, but the high is something different, starting off really strong and then easing into a cleaner stone for several hours. Hashmaking with the trimmed White Widow leaves produces a pungent soft product saturated with flavorful essential oils.
